The Garmet: The most popular items in this category of casual shirts are T-shirts. Choosing the appropriate shirt, whether 100% cotton or 50/50 cotton polyester blend, depends on it's use. While 100% cotton has a softer feel, 50/50 blends will be more durable, holding up under more washings and retaining their shapes longer.

50/50 blends are good for sports teams, service workers and recreation staffs, or when you require basic shirts in basic colors. 100% cotton is recommended for concert or event promotions, souvenirs, or any situation where you need a more diverse color and style selection.

In most cases, you won't be able to tell the difference between fabric weights just by touching the shirts. Naturally, the heavier the fabric weight, the longer-lasting the shirt will be. 100% cottons are available in heavier weights, usually 6.0 to 6.1 ounces, and are recommended for embroidery.

The Process: The screen printing process is so named because we literally press the ink through a framed, mesh screen to reproduce your art on a nearly limitless variety of garments, accessories and promotional items.

Each color in your design requires a separate positive image (known as color separations) from which we create the screens for your job. Therefore, unlike embroidery, the number of colors in your design has a direct impact on the price of your order. For example, if you have a two color logo and would like to feature it in the same size on both the front and back of your shirt, two screens will be manufactured. If, however, you'd like your two-color logo to be smaller on the front and larger on the back (what we call "heart-print" and "full-back", four screens will be created for your job.

Whether printing one color or as many as eight colors we will provide a vibrant reproduction of your art on a carefully hand-picked garment.
