The Garmet: Sweats aren't just for cleaning the house anymore! Now available in a variety of styles and weights, sweats and fleece are accepted fashion from the beach to the golf course. With fabric weights ranging from 7.5 to 12 ounces, your climate should be considered when choosing your garment.

Sweats are usually worn to fit loosely, often serving as outerwear worn over another garment. Shrinkage is a consideration in sizing sweats - particularly with higher cotton content - so the rule of thumb in sizing is when in doubt, larger is better than smaller.

In general, color selection in fleece and sweats is not as broad as in Tees or Polos. Embellishments that will coordinate with corporate colors may work best by selecting the appropriate ink or thread colors and choosing a garment in a basic or neutral color.

The Process: The screen printing process is so named because we literally press the ink through a framed, mesh screen to reproduce your art on a nearly limitless variety of garments, accessories and promotional items.

Each color in your design requires a separate positive image (known as color separations) from which we create the screens for your job. Therefore, unlike embroidery, the number of colors in your design has a direct impact on the price of your order. For example, if you have a two color logo and would like to feature it in the same size on both the front and back of your shirt, two screens will be manufactured. If, however, you'd like your two-color logo to be smaller on the front and larger on the back (what we call "heart-print" and "full-back", four screens will be created for your job.
